Question 3 : What have you learnt from your audience feedback?
From our audience feedback we were giving a lot of good points about both the ancillary task and music video. one of thoose points were that they liked the setting of our music video as it linked to the genre. i htought that this woudl not be said becuase form our research into genre conventions we worked outthat the traditional british hip hop genre would have big cities and lights as there setting of th evideo to make hte artists seme more powerful were as we only used a studio, so this was suprising for us.
When doing the focus group feedback they all agreed that they liked the continuity between the ancillary task and music video, they thought that it linked together really well as as we did not have any clohting mistakes or setting mistakes everything was the same that day which made it better for us.
When we handed out the quesionnaire half of the the people wante dus to have more of a city setting as htey think this would link to the genre convention more. by doing this it allowed us to think about our surroundings and becuase we were unable to get to a city to film we carried on with our orginal plan.
due to the typical hip hop genre the audience thought there would be more people involved in the music video due to the typical hip hop music video would have more artists involved in it. we thought this was interesting but we thought it was unnessercery for our music video as the song relates to the artists and no one else so we wanted them to be the main focus point.
