Beyonce - Dangerously in Love

 

This is Beyonces first album that she released in 2003. Here she is represented as youthfulness and a sexual magnatism. This is because from the album cover, the mise en scene which she uses is very limited when dealing wiht the clothing, she is in a diamond crop top with her belly on show which shows that she is youthful and sexuallising her self because she has her body on show which also shows that shes is feminised and is not embarresed about her body.

 

Also by her using this type of mise en scene it shows that the songs on her album may be about being strong and sexualised and relate to her as she shows this with her position on the album cover.

 

Comparing this to her newest album cover you can see that she is not showing of her body at all and has one a close up on her face which shows that she is about emotion which may link to the songs on this album as they may mean something with more meotion to her rather than her first ever album.

 

Also this album is in black and white which gives a vintage look to it which shows it gives her class because everything is perfect with the mise en scene as she has her hair slick back with her hands as if she is getting ready, so this could also give a sign that the songs on this album are a new start for her with the type of music she may perform.
