We decided to desing this as our logo because, when researching other record label logos we saw that the new up to date ones were all black and white which we thought was the up to date thing to do. it also shows that it is rtathe rvintage which shows that a record label will have experience from the past. 

 

We also come up with the name Hippo Record logos because we related the hippo to hip-hop and we thought that the hippo is a powerful creture which also signifies that we will have a powerful record label and we are stronger and more garunteed than any other record label.

 

For the font we thought that it should be very hip-hop but also slick and easy to read by doing this it will attract more artisits.
